Description

An HOO version of the SHO image I recently published here with RGB stars added, shot with the TMB130 from my Bortle 5 backyard.

I utilized Bill Blanshan's HOONormalization v.5 script to help process the HOO image.
Also used the  SPCC, GHS, BlurX, StarX and DeNoiseAI, along with some curve work, masks, advanced sharpening and screened the RGB stars back into the HOO image.

Did not like the first result. Reprocessed this time using Bill's NBNormalization script, and much more tinkering with the stretch and script settings.

NGC 281, the Pac-Man Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia about 9,500 light-years from Earth. Young star cluster IC 1590, as well as several dense, dark clouds of cosmic dust called bok globules, call the Pac-Man Nebula home. (wikipedia)

Thanks for looking
Clear Skies,
-Pete
